Περιγραφή	English: On August 8, at the time the data was valid for, the island of Maui was experiencing a major wildfire disaster fueled by windy and dry conditions. The U.S. Drought Monitor is a partnership between the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
